LOG LINE: During a Family Dinner, a son and daughter struggle to embrace childhood with the constant pressure to parent their mother.
“Family Dinner” was a project I worked on running social media accounts of TikTok and Instagram. My goals were to bring traction to the account as well as promote our Indiegogo and raise money for production. Family Dinner brings awareness to parentification, where roles reverse and children end up supporting their parents either financially or emotionally instead of being cared for themselves. This affects 1.4 billion children in the United States alone. The film also brings awareness to substance abuse. I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to work on this film and partnering with the producer and director to film content, as well as getting to know a team of talented individuals.
